Generative AI tools are helping employees save time, as they can rely on the chatbots for certain repetitive tasks. As a result, around 30% of the survey participants want to utilize the time to engage in non-work activities, improving their work-life balance.

Emma Kendrew, the technology lead at Accenture, UK, said:

“There will continue to be a strong appetite for AI from office workers, with many exploring it as an opportunity to find greater overall satisfaction in their working lives.”

On the downside, the utilization of generative AI tools is mostly concentrated on 18 to 24-year-olds. The screenshot below shows that 63% of the surveyed 18 to 24-year-old UK employees use generative AI at least once a week. But, only 22% of participants over 55 utilize the technology.
